Most people have a predominant skin type but this can change with age and the seasons. When selecting skincare products you will need to consider your basic skin type, then add additional products to help specific concerns such as dehydration, breakouts etc.

Dehydrated Skins
Skin lacks moisture. It will look parched and may have fine crisscross lines, especially around the eyes. If severely dehydrated it may flake and peel.

This skin needs products to replace lost moisture and to prevent further dehydration.



Combination Skin
A combination of oily normal and dry areas. This skin may have an oily t-zone on nose, forehead and chin along with dry patches.

This skin needs balancing products that will not cause dryness or congestion.



Sensitive Skins
This skin type may be fine and delicate with a tendency to high colour.

It may react easily to change in temperature, weather, foods or chemicals and be prone to broken capillaries. This skin needs products to soothe, nourish and protect.



Mature Skin
This skin type may have pigmentation marks, superficial dehydration, fine lines, wrinkles and occasional pimple breakouts.

This skin needs to be rebalanced, protected and nourished.

Dry Skin
This skin type may feel taut, uncomfortable, appear dull, lacking in vitality and moisture making it prone to fine lines and wrinkles.

This skin type requires products to replenish lost oils and to restore comfort and radiance.



Ageing Skin
This skin type may have fine lines, wrinkles and lack firmness.

This skin needs to be deeply nourished, protected and firmed with products that encourage cellular renewal.



Oily Skin
This skin type will have excess shine, be prone to blockages, breakouts and pimples.

This skin type needs products to balance, calm, heal, purify and reduce shine.



Stressed Skin
Usually as a result of lifestyle, the skin can appear lifeless, dull, grey and blotchy.

This skin type is prone to premature ageing and requires oxygenation and revitalising products.
